Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At Dero Catering Equipment, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Our return and refund policy is valid for 7 days from the date of purchase. If more than 7 days have passed, unfortunately we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging.

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send items back to the manufacturer unless instructed by our team.

Non-Returnable Items

Returns are not accepted for the following items:

  • Perishable or consumable goods such as soft serve mix, ice cream cones, food wrapping rolls, and FOMO packaging.

  • Custom-manufactured or special-order products.

Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us to confirm if a replacement is available.

Handling Fees

  • Any item returned after 7 days will incur a 25% handling fee.

  • Cancellations after placing an order will also incur a 25% admin and handling fee.


Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  1. We will notify you via email whether your refund is approved.

  2. If approved, a credit will be issued to your original payment method within a few business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • First check your bank account.

  • Then contact your credit card provider.

  • If still unresolved, email us or call 011 854 6668.


Return Shipping

  • Returns must be brought to Dero Suppliers, located at 211 Rose Ave, Lenasia, or delivered to our repair center (South of JHB) by prior arrangement.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and these costs are non-refundable.

  • We recommend using a trackable courier or purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not liable for damages during return transit.


Delivery Information

  • Delivery is not included in any listed product price.

  • Delivery is area-based and calculated according to weight, size, and destination.

  • We use The Courier Guy for national deliveries.

  • A team member will contact you to provide an accurate delivery quote once your order is placed.

Important Notes

  • All items will only be dispatched once full payment, including delivery fees, reflects in our business account.

  • If you’re unsure about anything, contact our friendly team for help—we’re here to ensure your order is smooth, secure, and satisfactory.
