300kg Ice Machine
R49 000,00
Designed for busy restaurants, supermarkets and takeaway stores, the 300kg Ice Machine delivers a reliable daily ice production capacity with consistent cube quality. Built with durable stainless steel construction and an efficient cooling system, it ensures hygienic ice production and dependable performance during peak service hours. Ideal for medium-volume beverage and food service operations requiring steady output throughout the day.
Description

1. Capacity
- Ice production: approx. 300 kg per 24 hours
- Rating usually at ~20–25 °C ambient and 10–15 °C inlet water
- Ice storage bin:
- Built‑in or separate bin, typically 100–180 kg storage (check model)
2. Ice Type (state preference when ordering)
Common options:
- Cube ice (full/half dice) – bars, restaurants, hotels
- Typical cube example: ~22 × 22 × 22 mm (varies by brand)
- Bullet / hollow ice – general catering
- Flake ice – fish, meat, bakery, medical
- Nugget / pellet ice – beverages, healthcare
Capacity and power vary slightly by ice type (flake/nugget often use a bit more power).
3. Operating Conditions
- Standard rating conditions:
- Ambient: ~21–25 °C
- Inlet water: ~10–15 °C
- In hotter rooms (30–35 °C) and with warmer water, actual output can drop 20–40%.
4. Refrigeration System
- Refrigerant: typically R404A or R290 (or as per local regulations)
- Cooling method:
- Air‑cooled condenser (most common), or
- Water‑cooled / remote condenser (for very hot or poorly ventilated rooms)
- Compressor: hermetic or semi‑hermetic, approx. 1.5–3.0 kW input, depending on design
5. Electrical
- Power supply (typical):
- 220–240 V / 50–60 Hz, single‑phase (for some 300 kg units), or
- 380–415 V / 50 Hz, 3‑phase (common for heavy‑duty models)
- Total power input: approx. 1.8–3.5 kW
- Controls:
- On/Off
- Automatic bin‑full shutoff
- Indicator lights / simple display (Power / Making / Bin full / Fault)
6. Water Requirements
- Water inlet:
- Cold water, typically ½” or ¾” connection
- Water pressure: usually 0.1–0.6 MPa (1–6 bar)
- Drain:
- ¾” or 1″ gravity drain from machine/bin
- Unit must be above drain point or use a drain pump
7. Construction
- Cabinet: Stainless steel exterior (front & sides), plastic trim where needed
- Evaporator:
- Nickel‑plated copper plate (cube machines) or
- Stainless drum/cylinder (flake/nugget)
- Ice bin interior: Food‑grade plastic (ABS/PE) or stainless steel
- Insulation: Polyurethane foam
- Access: Front or top bin door, removable service panels
8. Dimensions & Weight (typical ranges)
For a self‑contained 300 kg/24 h unit (machine + bin):
- Width: ~800–1,000 mm
- Depth: ~700–900 mm
- Height: ~1,300–1,700 mm (including legs)
- Weight: approx. 120–220 kg
For modular head + separate bin, the head is shorter; bin size varies by chosen storage capacity.
9. Features & Safety
- Fully automatic production with bin‑full level control
- Compressor overload and high‑pressure protection
- Low‑water protection (stops if water supply fails)
- Removable air filter on air‑cooled units (for cleaning)
- Some models also include:
- Self‑clean / descaling program
- Error codes / status display
10. Short example spec for RFQs
300 kg/24 h commercial ice maker, cube (or flake / nugget) ice, air‑cooled, stainless steel exterior, built‑in storage bin ~150 kg, R404A or R290 refrigerant, 380–415 V 3‑phase (or 220–240 V single‑phase), power input approx. 2–3 kW, automatic bin‑full shutoff, ½” water inlet, ¾” gravity drain.
